Tickets go on sale June 30 and will cost $ 20 plus fees and the door.
Now, a big name in Las Vegas, Fator first caught the attention of many fans when he won “America’s Got Talent”, took home $ 1 million.
The native of Dallas can trace his career back to the fifth grade, when he found a book entitled, “Ventriloquism for Fun and Profit”, ventriloquist, voice actor and comedian Paul Winchell. It was not long before Fator won a $ 25 prize for a performance at a church picnic.
" Terry Fator began his career working in small clubs and kids ' parties , until he got his big break in the second season of ' America 's Got Talent ,'" said Chelsey Jungck , events Nebraska State Fair and the director entertainment . "In 2007, he signed his first contract with the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and is now the second highest paid actor in the country.”
As a ventriloquist, Fator has a cast of characters including Winston, the Impersonating Turtle; Emma Taylor, the girl with the great voice; Maynard Tompkins, Elvis impersonator; Monty Carly, the lounge singer; and many others.

Other concerts announced so far by the State Fair will feature Chris Young on Friday, August 22; Styx on Saturday, August 23; BJ Thomas on older Nebraskans Day, Wednesday, August 27; and Michael W. Smith on Thursday, 28 August.
The 2014 Nebraska State Fair will be August 22 to September 01 in Grand Island.
